Student Technology Leadership Program

Here at South Christian we like to offer our students every opportunity to grow as students and people, giving them the best possible experiences we can in and out of the classroom. One of the ways this is done is through a state recognized extra-curricular activity known as STLP, Student Technology Leadership Program. In this program students work in groups and as individuals to help individuals, their school, and their community with problems which can help with problem solving. This program also offers students the ability extra time to work with technology and apply ideas they might not otherwise have time to do during the regular school day.

During the course of the year, students who are active with this program, compete in competitions with other schools in the district, a regional competition during the school day at Murray State University, and should students make it a state level competition in April at Rupp Arena.

Our program will meet after school every Monday till 4:00. : If you are unable to accommodate the 4:00 pick up timeframe then your child may go to the afterschool program for a fee. All students who are not picked up by 4:00 will be placed in the Afterschool Program for a drop in rate. Currently, we will only be accepting 4th- 6th grade students.
